Roadside park was constructed in the 1930's.  These benches were built by unemployed stonemasons using limestone quarried from the Minnesota River by the Mendota Bridge.

The Beehive barbeque was built in 1939 and is being transported from Lilac Park to Roadside Park.

Roadside park is located in St. Louis Park, MN @ Hwy. 100 and 7, near the Nordic Ware Tower.
